Commitment to Our Youth
It has always been a passion of mine to help people of all ages play, learn, engage with the world around them, and develop as individuals. High energy, contagious enthusiasm, and a team-first mindset are how I live my life.
Current Volunteer Work

Mission: To allow children with life-threatening conditions and their families to have an authentic camp experience by supporting their medical needs and offering fun, encouragement, education, and respite -- free of charge.
In 2016, from a pool of over 500 volunteers, I was publicly honored by The Painted Turtle during Volunteer Week: Archery Fairy Sam
training for positive team-building
USC: Residential education
2004-2007
Resident Advisor (for Freshmen)
Mission: To provide purposefully inclusive communities that create opportunities for personal and academic success.
For my junior and senior years, I was the RA on the Cinema Floor. In this role, I was able to connect the incoming freshmen with the senior-level and graduate students to give them invaluable access to opportunities which they otherwise would not have known about.
Camp Wyman
Summers 2003 and 2004
Camp Counselor
Mission: To empower campers from economically disadvantaged circumstances to lead successful lives and build strong communities. Most campers came from inner city St. Louis; for many, it was their first time being immersed in nature.
The magic house: children's museum
Pre-2003
Volunteer - Summer Camp
Mission: To engage all children in hands-on learning experiences that encourage experimentation, creativity, and development of problem-solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder, joy, and magic.
When I volunteered here, it was for a summer camp which focused on science and experimentation.
